I know this may be clichè, but damn, I’m so jealous how well Japan “variety” stores take pride in their quality of offerings. I wish here in Canada, I could walk down the block to my 7/11 and grab some beef udon right now or anytime. So what I need right now

Aw man, the udon looked amazing, even better than some top-notch pasta served in top-notch restaurants here in U.S.; not joking. I am biased for udon, but I love pasta too. sigh. hehehe bless u cutie sneeze from cutie Justin!

I really do wish I could have taken my daughter, Caitlin, to Japan for a food tour before I died. I had to settle for cooking as many traditional Japanese recipes as I could. Unfortunately I don’t have much time left. Thanks for all your videos. You both made me smile through the pain and depression. I hope you both treat your parents better than my other daughter who is angry at me for being ill; it’s an inconvenience for her. Have a spectacular life!

Hello dear friends! Thank you for your wonderful videos. If I may please ask? I often see that in Japan people eating ramen would finish the noodles and all other things that come with the broth but leave the broth in the bowl. For example Russians and those Americans I saw usually would finish the broth but might leave the noodles. Can you please help me understand that? As one would think that since the broth gives noodles it's taste isn't it more flavorful? Thank you a lot and please be healthy and well!

I got to eat in Marukame Udon in Waikiki and it was fantastic! Definitely go there early, 11 am or even earlier.

I never saw the pre-packaged udon. Only saw the steam trays with all of the ingredient choices.
